Job Duties |
The main roles are:
1)to serve as a liaison for all government agencies, suppliers and
customers dealing with Export Control Compliance Policies, Standards and
Regulations;
2)to ensure shipment comply with the Company Export Control Policy and
Standard;
3)to upkeep and maintain the Export Control’s Internal Compliance
Program Standard;
4)to set up part number as required.
The key responsibilities are:
a)to serve as the authorized person for export control compliance issues
in Asia Pacific working closely with our US counterpart;
b)to be the liaison for shipping issues with relevant Custom Authority
on matters relating to Export Control;
c)to ensure required import/export licenses, where and when needed, are
processed, maintained and kept up-to-date;
d)to release quotes and orders held under different export control
reasons;
e)to ensure internal export control practices are in line with the
corporate export control compliance program through internal audit
procedure;
f)to keep record of all shipments affected by export control compliance
requirements;
g)to submit necessary report to the Custom Authority in a timely manner |
Qualifications |
Diploma in any discipline. |
Experience |
Must have:
•understand Harmonization Tariff Code and Export Control Classification
Number;
•hands-on working experience in export control related activities;
•knowledge of export control regulations in Asia Pacific countries like:
Singapore Customs’ Strategic Goods Control Acts / Regulation
Good to have:
•knowledge of Hong Kong Customs’ Import & Export (Strategic Commodities)
Regulations
•knowledge of International Commerce Terms 2000 (or INCOTERMS2000)
Standard
•Proficient in AS400 Business System advantage. |
Salary Range |
$2,500 - $3,500 |
