Job Duties |
- Responsible for the general purchasing/
sourcing of relevant electronic & mechanical parts for motor assembly
- Negotiate with suppliers on pricing; best trade term, most optimal
order and delivery quantity & maintain overall supplier relationship/
performance.
- Prepare purchase order to suppliers; source & evaluate new vendor and
maintain approved vendor lists.
- Work closely with warehousing/ logistic executive to ensure timely
delivery of parts to support production activity.
- Work closely with master planner on purchasing & develop vendor
evaluation criteria.
- Define purchasing processes & procedures as per ISO requirement. |
Qualifications |
Deg/ dip in electronic/
mechanical engineering/ material management; supply chain management or
equivalent |
Experience |
3 yrs experience in purchasing
function or supplied chain management, preferably from electronic/
mechanical assembly/ sourcing environment.
Familiar with general purchase function, including direct & indirect
material sourcing; price negotiation, contract agreement, etc
Familiar with ERP system & MS office application |
Salary Range |
$2,600 - $3,000 |
